Who We Are
EstateCo is not a law firm. We are Estate Advocates for families and heirs. Our mission is to honor the deceased, protect family legacies, and move mountains to get results for our heirs.
Our team has huge hearts and strong backbones. We work hard, move fast, and believe in maintaining a healthy balance between meaningful work and personal life. If you are looking for a company where your expertise matters, your work is valued, and your results are recognized, you will fit right in.
The Role
We are hiring a Probate and Trust Paralegal to support our legal department and attorneys in all aspects of post-death administration. You will serve as the central liaison for judges, judicial assistants, beneficiaries, executors, trustees, and internal teams.
This is not an entry-level position. We need a seasoned professional who understands Florida probate court procedures and knows how to get things done.
You will help drive our attorneys and courts to move cases forward and obtain orders of administration quickly and accurately. You will manage multiple estates from opening to closing, including petitions, inventories, partition actions, evictions, and lien reductions.
What You’ll Do
- Handle full-cycle probate and trust administration from petition through discharge.
- Draft and file petitions, inventories, accountings, and other required court filings.
- Liaise with judges, judicial assistants, and court staff to keep cases on track.
- Assist with partition actions, evictions, and lien reductions connected to estate properties.
- Track deadlines and filings with precision and ensure compliance with Florida probate procedures.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with all parties involved.
Who You Are
- A mid-to-senior-level paralegal with at least five years of experience in Florida probate and trust administration.
- Highly skilled at working with judges, judicial assistants, and clerks to keep matters moving efficiently.
- A self-starter who is detail-oriented and thrives on solving complex problems.
- Capable of managing multiple estates at once without losing focus or accuracy.
- A strong communicator who brings professionalism and empathy to every conversation.
- A proven performer who brings your own probate and trust “toolbox” to the table.
Why People Love Working Here
- We are a mission-driven company, not a corporate law office.
- We move fast, stay focused, and genuinely care about the families we serve.
- You will have the freedom to own your role, take initiative, and prove your value.
- When you do, you will be rewarded generously.
How to Apply
Send your résumé and a short cover letter summarizing your Florida probate experience. Include one or two examples of how you have successfully moved estates through the courts quickly and efficiently.
