We are looking for energetic, client focused, self-starting litigation associates to become a part of our growing team in Chicago. We are proud of our winning track record in diverse domains such as aviation and aerospace, product liability, class action litigation and commercial disputes, just to name just a few. We serve as trusted advisors to worldwide insurance markets, major aerospace corporations, domestic and international airlines and airport facilities, product manufacturers, and service providers from our offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Princeton, New Jersey, and Chicago.
We represent our clients nationwide as lead counsel in litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. We handle appeals at every level, including the U.S. Supreme Court. We are entrusted by multi-national conglomerates to serve as National Coordinating Counsel in the defense of claims and litigation abroad, including commercial litigation, wrongful death and serious personal injury cases. We work in close partnership with our clients (most of whom are Fortune 500 companies) to provide the most effective and efficient representation available.
Our attorneys also represent municipalities in matters of personal injury, environmental claims, construction claims, zoning, and land use. In the area of premises liability, we defend property owners ranging from individuals to large commercial entities.
Position
FitzHunt has openings in the Chicago, Illinois office for two exceptional attorneys of 2 to 6 years of experience. Successful candidates should have experience in both federal and state courts, with experience handling products and premises liability claims, personal injury claims, and complex litigation. Trial or trial preparation experience is a plus. We are seeking motivated self-starters, who will make a positive contribution to the team chemistry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to conduct insightful research and a flare for persuasive writing is required. Additionally, we are seeking associates who have the ability and desire to critically analyze complex issues and produce an excellent work product. The ideal candidates will be comfortable assuming immediate responsibility for a healthy caseload and will be content working as an integral part of a collaborative team.
